Volunteer with the maintenance crew

Activities commonly include pulling invasive weeds, collecting green waste, spreading wood chips, and caring for natives as part of our restoration efforts.

Sign up once, then join us whenever you have time!

Meet us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9am at the Kula Marketplace upper parking lot. Please arrive early, as we won't wait around for long — there's work to be done! We work 9-3, but feel free to leave whenever you need to.

Why Volunteer?

This work depends on people showing up — neighbors helping neighbors.

Volunteers generally support fuel reduction projects and green waste efforts. Every contribution helps reduce risk and strengthen resilience.

Who can help

You don’t need special experience to get involved.

Volunteers of different ages and backgrounds participate. Some roles are physically demanding, while others focus on coordination or support.

What volunteers do

Every day is different. Volunteers often assist with invasive plant removal, clearing fire-prone vegetation, and assisting residents with land management challenges. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
